Grand Theft Auto V had a second life almost no one predicted: GTA Online. It ran for over a decade and became one of the most successful games ever made. So what happens when that formula moves to Leonida? Here is our take, clearly flagged as speculation.
A decade of GTA Online
Online turned a single-player crime story into a persistent playground of heists, businesses and chaos. It set the template that GTA 6 multiplayer will almost certainly build on, even though Rockstar has not detailed its plans yet.
What could carry over
Expect the pillars to return in some form: crews, heists, player-run businesses and seasonal content. A bigger, denser Vice City gives all of that far more room to breathe than Los Santos ever did.
What we hope changes
Fans have wishlists a mile long: smoother onboarding for new players, less grind, better anti-cheat and a friendlier economy. Whether Rockstar delivers is an open question.
Nothing official yet
To be clear, none of this is confirmed. Rockstar has focused its reveals on the single-player world so far. We will report the facts on multiplayer the moment they are official, right here in the News feed.
